Multiple Installs
Kernic Systems has multiple installations underway this week – one in North Carolina and another in Michigan.
North Carolina Installation
Our team is installing the first phase of a new Höcker Polytechnik GmbH 30,000 cfm scrap recovery system, complete with a MultiStar explosion protected dust collector with integrated briquetter, NFPA-compliant safety equipment, a PMA rotary airlock material separator, and a complete control platform. The new system will be integrated with a Maren Engineering Corporation A160 auto-tie baler and a 60″ wide shredding system. This scrap recovery system is designed to handle the customer’s new high-production cutting-edge converting machinery and to enhance plant cleanliness, reduce noise, and minimize energy consumption while improving overall operational efficiency.
Michigan Installation & Start-Up
We are also supporting a major corrugated box plant in Michigan with the installation and start-up of a Hocker PHH160 core shredder. This heavy-duty unit will efficiently process spent cores produced by their corrugator, improving material handling flow and supporting a cleaner, safer production environment.
